Pedora will work on iPhone 6s or newer.
Pedora uses your iPhone's built-in motion sensor to read today's activities, and HealthKit to read past activities.
It is because the app doesn't have a permission to access HealthKit which is required to read the past data.
The easiest way to fix this is to delete the app and reinstall, and then grant the permission when you are asked for HealthKit access.

Pedora reads heart rates from the Health app in your iPhone, so you'll need to connect a heart rate sensor to your iPhone.
Heart rate sensor can be Apple Watch or any smart bands that can read your heart rate.
To switch between Metric and Imperial units, please follow these steps:
Open Pedora
Open Settings (top left button)
Tap Unit and change it to the unit you prefer
Green means you achieved your goal.
Orange means you achieved more than 50% of your goal.
Red means you achieved less than 50% of your goal.
Grey means you didn't start your activity yet.
Light Green means you didn't set your goal for the activity.
You don't have to keep the app open.
Your iPhone will track your activities in the background, and Pedora will read the data from your iPhone only when you're using the app without draining the battery.
You can jump to the day you want by tapping the date legend on the bottom bar chart.
For example, in 'Year' period, tapping the month legend will take you to that month in 'Month' period and so on.
Pedora app retrieves the data (step counts, distance, and floors) from iPhone’s Health app.
However, duration and calories are not the recorded numbers but only generalized estimations, so they are inaccurate and even inconsistent numbers which can vary by individual and their activity types.
There are 2 ways to change the goals for today.
Open app settings by tapping on settings button on the top left corner,
and tap "Daily Goals",
and you'll be able to change the goals for today
or
Go to today by tapping the date or blue arrow icon on the top ring chart view,
and tap the main ring chart on the center,
and Goal Settings will appear,
and you'll be able to change the goals for today
Automatic goals will update today's goals automatically whenever you launch the app.
Custom goals will stay the same as you specified.
On the top ring chart view, swipe to the day you want,
tap the main ring chart, and Goal Settings will appear,
and you'll be able to change the custom goals for the day.
Goals for the iPhone and Apple watch app are automatically synced to iCloud, so all you need to do is to login to your iCloud account and you're all set.
No. Goals data for iPhone and Apple Watch app are synced to iCloud independently without sharing.
This is because each device tracks their own walking activities, and they should have their own goals.
To save the battery of the phone, iOS limits the refresh interval and decides when to update each widget.
You can force refresh the widget by tapping the widget to open the main app and returning to home screen.
You can choose which activity (steps, distance, duration, calories, floors, heart rate) to show by tapping each widget while adding widget.
To save the battery of the Apple Watch, watchOS limits the refresh interval and decides when to update each complication.
You can force refresh the complications by tapping the complication to open the main watch app and returning to watch home screen.
Here's how to share each other's data:
You'll see the medal icon on the top right corner below heart icon
Tap the medal icon and you'll see the rank screen and share button at the bottom
Tap the share button and you can send your invitation to any iCloud contact via Messages or Mail
When they receive your invitation, they'll tap it and your data will be shown in the app's rank screen
They can do the same to send their invitation to you
Notifications are delivered at best effort, which means the app will try to process the step counting in background and deliver the notifications with its best effort under the following conditions:
The app needs to stay in background instead of being killed - don't swipe away in the app switcher
The app needs to stay in background instead of being suspended - use the app fairly often so that it doesn't get suspended
The app needs to open again when iPhone is restarted
In short, use the app fairly often and don't force kill the app and you'll receive the notifications.
